I bought a pair of these high-tech pants for my youngest son, who loves hi-tech everything. He was a little dubious about the hype, but gave them a try since they were a gift. He's since emailed me that he absolutely loves his pants and wants more.

I gifted a pair to my husband for his birthday and he wore them last week while we visited 3 national parks in 3 days. He wore them the whole time - they held up great, didn’t smell, no stains, and very comfortable. He wants another pair!
Stayed warm and dry climbing at 19,000 ft as the sun came up. Had a base layer, flannel, and the campfire puffy. I kept two other layers in my pack. Cut the wind and sleet. No need for anything else.
