The Campfire Puffy is the most durable puffy available, wind, water, rock and yes even the campfire. With its Lenzing FR & Aramid exterior you’ll no longer need tenacious tape, duck tape or have unstylish holes ruining your favorite puffy jacket. Whether you’re around the fire, caught in the rain, slapped in the face by a gust of wind or hiking through a briar patch this jacket stands up to all the outdoors has to offer.

Beyond that extreme durability, its large panel construction & our subtle branding will maintain a classic look for years of use. Equipped with 100gsm - 100% Recycled PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation you’ll have the best warmth to weight ratio for even the coldest of conditions. This insulation is also hydrophobic and the exterior is a 2 layer waterproof membrane with a 10,000mm water column, 10,000 MVTR breathability and an additional Durable Water Repellency coating. Real talk, you’ll have an amazing combination of waterproofness & breathability.

With 6 total pockets you’ll have endless storage without the bulk. Leaving your everyday pockets (lined with soft micro-fleece) to keep your hands nice & warm.

Incredible jacket, not just fire resistant but stood up to the fire hose of bashing into waves, halibut blood spatter, more days of rain, wind salt spray, with the occasional campfire thrown in for beer drinking. I have been warm and dry the whole time. And the damned thing looks perfect in spite of the abuse.

FAQs

We worked with our fabric manufacturers to develop a new lightweight laminated Lenzing FR & Aramid blended fabric that is fire-resistant AND waterproof. Lenzing FR & Aramid blend, is a naturally fire-resistant fiber that is used on everything from the Mars Rover to firefighting gear and now we're the first ones introducing it to the outdoor industry.

The Campfire Puffy Jacket has six total pockets (four of them are zippered). Two micro-fleece lined pockets on the waist, two exterior chest pockets, and two interior stow & go pockets. The Campfire Puffy can hold up to 18 beers - we've defnitely tested that stat.

Yes, the jacket has a waterproof membrane with the fire-resistant exterior, it is fully seam taped with waterproof zippers as well.

Aramid is a not so little 'little cousin' of Kevlar so this makes the exterior fabric incredibly durable against abrasion!

With apparel we don't assign temperature ratings as it is very subjective to the person/activity/type of layering/etc. We used a 100gsm weight of Primaloft Gold Insulation which is a heavier weight of insulation and provides a very good warmth to weight ratio.

Machine Wash Cool on gentle cycle, wash with like colors. Do not bleach, fabric softener not recommended. Hang to dry, do not dry clean, Cool iron under cover cloth.

Thanks Graeme! Looks like you've put it through the ringer already! Glad it stands the test of time.

Thank you

This is the best jacket I own. Every puffy jacket I have owned just makes me feel like the stay puff marshmallow man. This jacket has the warmth and feel of a traditional puffy but modern and no seams in the middle.

Wow! What a great compliment. Thanks for the review and stoked that you like the jacket!

This may be the one to do it

I look for jackets that have some warmth and are waterproof. I have come not to like GoreTex. Too stiff and an uncertain ability to ward off the rain, particularly for the 'all day out in the weather canoe camping' I do. Various companies make waterproof jackets, but I need an under garment to stay warm. Layering has its limitations. The campfire puffy jacket might just be the solution. It's a bit heavy for my taste, but it's warm! Will it stand up to all day in the rain? I don't know yet but I'm interested to try. A 7 day whitewater trip in Canada will help to fill in the blanks. For the moment the jacket is comfortable, soft inside, good pockets and a generous length. I'm pleased.

Let us know hpw the trip goes and how awesome the jacket was! ;)
Gald it impressed you so far!

Most excellent Puffy!

I've owned both the OG Puffy and now the 2.0, and they've really perfected it with this one. It's incredibly comfortable all over, and it's kept me warm and dry throughout the entire winter season this year. The fit around the midsection is improved compared to the original, giving it a sleek appearance, and the outer fabric feels even softer. Since my job requires me to be outside in various weather conditions every day, I appreciate not having to layer up constantly. Even when I'm just wearing a polo indoors, I can rely on the Puffy 2.0 to keep me warm when I step outside. I foresee this jacket being my go-to from fall through spring for many years to come.
