An outdoor jacket needs to be as light and breathable as possible, even campfire-proof ones. We worked with fabric manufacturers to develop a lightweight laminated Nomex® fabric that is fire resistant and waterproof. Nomex® is a naturally fire resistant fiber that is used on everything from the Mars Rover to Flight Suits, from firefighting gear to industrial apparel that is now making its way to the outdoor industry. Finally a jacket that won't melt around the campfire!
Fire-Resistant - Enjoy a bonfire with friends and be the only one not freaking out about those little stray sparks or fire embers ruining your nice puffy jacket.
Tear-Proof - No longer will briars, your dogs claws or random sharp edges tear your nice puffy. This jacket is practically indestructible.
Windproof - With our panel design instead of a baffle design your Campfire Puffy will both retain more heat to keep you warm and prevent the cold air from getting inside.
Waterproof - No one likes getting caught in the rain but when you can't prevent it the rain will simply bead up on the exterior keeping you as dry as your dad's humor.

I love the fact that it’s not a puffy jacket (not a big fan of that look) but keeps me totally warm as if it was! Not only that, all the pocket placements, the zippers, and the fit are exquisite. I purchased the black, and I’ll never go back :-)
Great so far ,20 Degree hike, wind 15 to 20 mph! got plenty warm, have to learn how to dress with it again, layering is not so much now, I think I'm gonna love it! Thank's
Love the jacket, nice and warm but not too bulky. I’m 5’11” about 180 lbs and the large fits me perfectly. Material has great durability, plenty of useful pockets (internal and external). Living in Michigan I haven’t had the chance to use around a campfire yet, but I can attest that it’s waterproof and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
I'm a petite woman (5'1", 115 lbs), but couldn't resist ordering one of the Campfire Puffy Jackets after seeing a review in a local magazine. The only options online were for men's sizes, so I thought I would try a small in that. Naturally, it was much too big for me, but after contacting Teren as to how to return it, I received a nice email from James explaining that they did have women's sizes available, but they were not offered on the website yet and the sleeves in the shipment they received were 2" too long. I was offered the option of exchanging my jacket for one of those once the sleeves were shortened, and of course I chose to do so. It only took about a week before I was notified the women's size small jacket was ready, and James met me at the warehouse for the exchange. I'm sooo happy with my new jacket! Even though it is still a bit large for my taste (I usually take a petite extra small), it fits well enough to suit my needs, and there's room for several layers underneath! I really love all the pockets; the quality and customer service are top-notch. I will definitely buy from Teren again.
I have to say I’m super impressed. The jacket is comfy and flexible while still being warm, water proof and won’t melt by the fire. This is my new every day jacket. Only thing is make sure to pay attention to the size charts. They run a little smaller than the normal sizes so you might need to get the next size up from your usual.
